when will I get my runway closet?

Hii, I would usually say that the current month I am in was hectic but I sadly can't say that about March since this entire month I've been running on low sleep instead of being overwhelmed with work. Fashion week has passed but I am still seeing many of the looks presented on the media along with other shows outside of fashion week. The more I see Bella Hadid and Adut Akech walk runways it makes me wish to have Chers conveyor belt closet. Although I am far from a fashion blogger and is still in the process of finding my style, I find it fun to discuss some of my top looks I saw.

Valentino Pink Fall 2022

I adored Valentino's exclusively black and hot pink show, from the outfits to the complexly pink runway. Each of the looks would be something I would pull out to wear also I feel as though it represents me due to me always drifting to pull out monochromatic looks rather than trying to figure out how to match patterns. Another thing I loved about this show and any other show that does it, it the use of platforms boots. I am a sucker for platform anything and anything that will make me a giant (which is rare since I'm still sadly short with platforms).

Diesel FW22

First of all, the location of this Diesel's show is surreal, I love the inflatables. I mostly see runway shows on an actually runway stage but this one has to be my favorite so far, just an enormous room filled with inflatables pathing a way for the runway. Another aspect of this show is the denim galore, it scream reworked and I love it. I am currently in dire need for denim and the hunt is never ending but this gives me inspiration. I wish I could put every picture of the collection here since I can't find anything I dislike about it so I'll limit it to just these 3.

Givenchy F22

For Givenchy's show was another one with my favorite color basics; black, white, and brown. I appreciate all the layering in this collection which is something I am trying to get better at when I eventually fill my closet with over sized pieces.

Jean Paul Gaultier SS22

Another show that is full of of favorites. I first saw this runway on TikTok and the nude two piece is the reason this post is being made, it's amazing. The colors of the runway looks remind me of ballet and it's also full of illusions with the way the pieces were designed that made it appear as futuristic. As I am in the midst of preparing for prom if I had the opportunity I would wear these in a heart beat.

Blumarine SS22

Blumarine runway collection definite takes the cake for their vibrant colors and glamorous looks. The models make the colors look even more glamorous and I aspire to dress like this on a daily basis. I am the absolute worst at pulling things out my closet that are "out there" but seeing things like the flat cap with a fringe like dress to a rose choker with fisher knee-highs and all blue with a bright red boot pushes me closer to throwing together looks that the average person wouldn't wear.

I could go on forever on how many looks I enjoyed from these runways but that would make this post extremely long. I won't say I wish to go to a fashion show in my life time but I do hope I gain the confidence to step out in more unique pieces. Hopefully you enjoyed and liked the pieces as much as I do.
